Drude weight in non solvable quantum spin chains

چکیده
For a quantum spin chain or 1D fermionic system, we prove that the Drude weight D verifies the universal Luttinger liquid relation v s = D/κ, where κ is the susceptibility and vs is the Fermi velocity. This result is proved by rigorous Renormalization Group methods and is true for any weakly interacting system, regardless its integrablity. This paper, combined with [1], completes the proof of the Luttinger liquid conjecture for such systems.

The thermal conductivity of alternating spin chains
We study a class of integrable alternating (S1, S2) quantum spin chains with critical ground state properties. متن کاملIntegrability of quantum chains: theory and applications to the spin-1/2 XXZ chain
In this contribution we review the theory of integrability of quantum systems in one spatial dimension. We introduce the basic concepts such as the Yang-Baxter equation, commuting currents, and the algebraic Bethe ansatz. Quite extensively we present the treatment of integrable quantum systems at finite temperature on the basis of a lattice path integral formulation and a suitable transfer matr...
متن کاملCharge- and spin-gap formation in exactly solvable Hubbard chains with long-range hopping.
We discuss the transition from a metal to charge or spin insulating phases characterized by the opening of a gap in the charge or spin excitation spectra, respectively. These transitions are addressed within the context of two exactly solvable Hubbard and tJ chains with long range, 1/r hopping. We discuss the specific heat, compressibility, and magnetic susceptibility of these models as a funct...
متن کاملUniversality relations in non-solvable quantum spin chains
We prove the exact relations between the critical exponents and the susceptibility, implied by the Haldane Luttinger liquid conjecture, for a generic lattice fermionic model or a quantum spin chain with short range weak interaction. The validity of such relations was only checked in some special solvable models, but there was up to now no proof of their validity in non-solvable models.
متن کاملHaldane Gapped Spin Chains: Exact Low Temperature Expansions of Correlation Functions
We study both the static and dynamic properties of gapped, one-dimensional, Heisenberg, anti-ferromagnetic, spin chains at finite temperature through an analysis of the O(3) non-linear sigma model. Exploiting the integrability of this theory, we are able to compute an exact low temperature expansion of the finite temperature correlators. We do so using a truncated ‘form-factor’ expansion and so...
